What it does

DSH Go is an unofficial Android app for DeepSeek Harness, a coding agent. It installs a small Ubuntu with Node.js inside the app, so the agent runs on the phone without root and without Termux, and keep about 1 GB free for it. You can also skip that and connect over SSH to the agent on your computer or server. It chats, sends pictures, takes voice input, shows tool approvals, has two cartoon mascots and, if you allow it, can read your screen and tap for you. Android 8 or newer, installed from an APK file.

How easy it is to install

B · installer plus one simple step

It is an Android app, so none of the desktop systems get a grade. On Android you download the arm64 APK from the releases page and allow the install, then on first start you either let it install its own Linux environment (about 1 GB) or point it at a computer, and you still have to set up a model and your credentials before the first message.

Risk signals (5)

  • Attentioninstalled from an apk file outside an app store

The README says the Android build targets APK sideloading and is not configured for a Google Play release ("当前 Android 构建以 APK 侧载为目标,不是 Google Play 发布配置"), so you have to allow installs from an unknown source and there is no store review or automatic update. It also warns that an earlier test build signed with a different key cannot be installed over, and that uninstalling erases conversations, the Linux environment and settings.

    AI review

  • Attentionagent can read your screen and tap for you

The "手机操控" (phone control) feature needs the Android accessibility permission, and the README's data section says the screen text a task needs may be sent to the model and that a model which reads images may receive screenshots. It says payments, passwords, verification codes and system settings are always handed back to you, and the "do not disturb" variant also needs Android 14 or newer plus Shizuku or a self-connected ADB.

    AI review

  • Attentionusage statistics on by default

README, data and permissions: "『发送匿名使用统计』默认开启" — anonymous usage statistics are switched on by default and have to be turned off in the first-run guide or in Settings → Privacy and sharing.

    AI review

  • Infounofficial client not linked to deepseek

The README states twice that this is a community client with no relation to DeepSeek ("DSH Go 是社区开发的非官方客户端,与 DeepSeek 没有关联"). The app name, logo and the two mascots are excluded from the open-source licence (ASSETS.md), even though the code is AGPL-3.0.

    AI review

  • Infovery new project that asks for stars

The repository was created on 2026-10-25 and already has 3,619 stars, 191 open issues and 8 releases. The README asks readers to star it so iOS and HarmonyOS versions arrive faster ("大家 Star 点得越多,我适配得越快哦"), so the star count is being promoted rather than only earned.

What Radar could not check

  • Whether the in-app Linux environment really installs and runs on your phone model, and how much battery and storage it uses beyond the stated 1 GB.
  • Whether phone control stops at payments, passwords and verification codes as the README claims.
  • What is sent with the usage statistics before you switch them off.
  • That the share links are end-to-end encrypted as described, and what the sharing service keeps.
  • What a month of model use costs at your provider.
  • Most of the documentation is in Chinese; the app interface offers English, which was not checked.
