Pitstop

What it does
A single Windows program (called Pitstop) for people whose game stutters, lags or refuses to start. It measures frame rate with Intel's PresentMon, tests your network hop by hop, looks at monitor refresh rate, cables and memory sticks, and explains each finding in plain words. One button applies the changes software can make and it keeps a log so each change can be undone; Windows also makes a restore point first. Built around VALORANT and Vanguard error codes. One portable file, no installer and no admin rights, Windows 10 and 11 only.
How easy it is to install
A · download and open · Windows
On Windows it is one 8 MB file you download and open (Pitstop-1.2.2-portable-x64.exe), with the README saying "No installer, no admin rights". There is no Mac or Linux build, since it changes Windows settings.

- Infounsigned windows executable
The README's own note says "The build isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn you the first time. Choose More info, then Run anyway" — so Windows cannot show who published the file.
AI review
- Infochanges windows and network settings
The README says "Fix all does what software can", that "Every change is logged and can be undone, and Windows makes a restore point first", and that the Restart into BIOS button runs `shutdown /r /fw /t 0`, which reboots the PC straight into firmware setup.

- Inforelease file version mismatch
The only release is tagged v1.2.1 and Cargo.toml says version = "1.2.1", but the file offered for download is named Pitstop-1.2.2-portable-x64.exe.

What Radar could not check
- Whether the frame rate or lag really improves on your PC; the README itself says no number can be promised.
- Whether the undo really puts every Windows and network setting back as it was.
- Whether the program collects nothing, as the README claims "no telemetry".
- Whether the BIOS instructions match your motherboard, since the rules file lists ASUS paths.
- Whether the downloaded file matches the published source code, as there is no signature or checksum.
