NXNative

Radar found strong risk signals in this project. It stays visible so you can read the evidence, but it is left out of rankings and recommendations.
What it does
A set of scripts that converts a Nintendo Switch game dump (NSP or XCI files) into an iPhone/iPad app (IPA) or a Mac app, so the game's own code runs on the Apple chip with graphics rebuilt on Metal. You must supply the game files and your Switch's prod.keys. It needs a Mac with Xcode, Homebrew, the .NET SDK and Python, an iPhone 15 Pro or M1 iPad on iOS 26 or later, and a sideloading tool such as AltStore. The first build takes 30–60 minutes and needs about twice the game's size plus 10 GB free. Windows is not supported.
How easy it is to install
E · developers only · macOS
The Mac is the only system that can do this and it is still an E: there are no releases, so you clone the repository, install Xcode 27.1 with the Metal toolchain, Homebrew packages, the .NET SDK and Python modules, run a build script with your own game dump and prod.keys, then sideload the result onto the phone. Windows and Linux are not supported at all.
Coming soon: install in 1 click with the RepoPicks app.

Risk signals (6)
- Highconsole keys and game decryption
The main use depends on Nintendo's console decryption keys: README "Bring your game (its NSP files) and your `prod.keys`"; build command "build_ipa_from_nsp.py ~/Games/MarioWonder -k ~/keys/prod.keys"; LibHac "reads NSPs". prod.keys are the keys a Switch uses to decrypt games, and they can only be pulled from a modified console. Many countries have laws that restrict extracting such keys and decrypting games.

- Attentionoutput contains full game
Each IPA holds the whole game (README lists sizes such as "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ~11.9 GB" and "Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ~17 GB"). Sharing these files would be distributing a copyrighted game.

- Attentionsideloading required
README step 4: "Install the IPA with your sideloading tool (AltStore, Sideloadly, LiveContainer, …)" and sign it with the "Increased Memory Limit" capability. Apps are installed outside the App Store.

- Infostrict device requirements
README: "Needs iOS / iPadOS 26 or later on an iPhone 15 Pro or newer (A17 Pro chip or later) or an iPad with an M1 chip or later"; for games that are not in the list the script "still tries its best to pack an IPA, guessing the game's settings; such an IPA may not start".
AI review
- Infounaffiliated with the console maker
README: "Nothing from any game is in this repository, and the project is not affiliated with Nintendo or any game publisher." The repository ships only the conversion code; the game content comes from you.

What Radar could not check
- Whether each listed game actually runs well on a given iPhone, iPad or Mac
- Whether the build works on a Mac other than the authors' setup and with game versions they did not test
- How long sideloaded apps keep working before they must be signed again
- Real battery use and heat on the phone while playing
- The legal status of extracting prod.keys and converting your own games in your country
