What it does
PDFsam Basic is a desktop program for everyday PDF page tasks: joining several PDFs into one, splitting a PDF into parts, mixing pages from two files, rotating pages and extracting selected pages. It does not edit the text inside a PDF. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and since version 4 it comes with its own Java built in, so nothing else needs to be installed.
How easy it is to install

The releases include a Windows installer (pdfsam-basic-6.0.6-windows-x64.msi, about 93 MB) that bundles its own Java, so you download it and open it.
