Stack Diagram
caru-ini/stack-diagramReviewed by AI
What it does
A skill you add to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or the Claude apps. You write a sentence such as "Next.js and a Hono API on Vercel, Postgres on Neon, auth with Clerk" and the agent draws the architecture diagram, using each product's official logo downloaded from public logo sites. You get a single self-contained HTML file in light and dark versions, and can also ask for PNG or a React component. For developers and people who write technical docs. Needs an AI agent, Python 3.9 or newer and an internet connection; PNG export also uses Playwright with Chromium.
How easy it is to install
B · installer plus one simple step · Web
- Windows C
- macOS C
- Linux C
- Web B
The easiest route is the Claude apps on the web: download stack-diagram.zip from the releases page and upload it as a skill. On Windows, macOS and Linux you first need an AI agent such as Claude Code working, then run `npx skills add caru-ini/stack-diagram` in a terminal and have Python 3.9 or newer installed, plus Playwright with Chromium if you want PNG files.

- Infovery new project

AI review
- Infodownloads logos from outside sites at run time
The README says "Logos are not bundled with the skill. They are downloaded at build time from svgl, devicon, gilbarbara/logos, AWS Architecture Icons and Lucide, or from the brand's own site or repository", and that it "Requires Python 3.9+ and network access for the logos" — so each run fetches files from the internet.
AI review
- Infothird party brand logos in the result
The README states "All brand names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners; their use in a diagram does not imply endorsement". A diagram you publish will contain other companies' logos, which each brand's own rules cover.
AI review
- Inforesults depend on the ai model
The project is a skill (the `skills/` folder) that instructs an agent: "the agent renders the diagram and checks it before handing it over", so the diagram you get varies with the model and the sentence you write.

What Radar could not check
- Whether the agent picks the right logo for each product you name, or any logo at all for less known tools.
- Whether it works inside the Claude apps, where the code may not be allowed to download logos from the internet.
- How much disk space the PNG export needs, since Playwright downloads its own copy of Chromium.
- Whether the diagram layout holds up for a stack with many parts, beyond the examples in the README.
