Agency Agents

msitarzewski/agency-agentsReviewed by AI

What it does

The Agency is a big collection of instruction files ("agents") for AI assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Copilot and OpenCode. Each file gives the assistant a role — frontend developer, SEO specialist, sales coach, security auditor and many more — with a personality, working steps and expected results. It is for people who already use one of these assistants. You add the files by copying them into the assistant's folder, by running the bash install script, or with a separate desktop app the author publishes in another repository.

How easy it is to install

C · install 1 or 2 tools · Windows

  • Windows C
  • macOS C
  • Linux C

The same on all three: you need an AI assistant already installed, then you run ./scripts/install.sh (a bash script, which on Windows means Git Bash or WSL) or copy the Markdown files by hand, as in "cp engineering/*.md ~/.claude/agents/".

Risk signals (4)

  • Inforecommended app in other repository

README.md recommends "Option 1: Install the app (Recommended)" from https://github.com/msitarzewski/agency-agents-app/releases/latest, which "auto-updates". That app lives in a different repository and was not part of this analysis.

    AI review

  • Infowrites into assistant config folders

README.md: "./scripts/install.sh --tool claude-code" and "cp engineering/*.md ~/.claude/agents/". The installer places files in the configuration folders of tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and OpenCode, where they change how the assistant behaves.

    AI review

  • Infoincludes offensive security roles

README.md, Security Division: "Penetration Tester | Authorized pentests, red team ops, exploitation | Finding exploitable weaknesses before attackers do". The roster is mostly defensive, but this role asks the assistant to look for ways to break into systems, which is only lawful on systems you are allowed to test.

    AI review

  • Infoinstall limit in one host

README.md: "OpenCode's runtime currently registers only ~119 agents and silently drops the rest"; the README suggests installing a subset with --division to stay under that limit.

What Radar could not check

  • Whether these role prompts actually give better results than a plain AI assistant.
  • Whether every agent file is free of instructions that push the assistant to run risky commands or reach outside services.
  • Whether scripts/install.sh and scripts/convert.sh work on Windows outside Git Bash or WSL.
  • What the separate desktop app installs and how its auto-update works.
  • How many of the many agents overlap, and how well each one is kept up to date.
